We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Medical Support Specialist in our Wauwatosa, WI clinic.
Key Responsibilities:- Rooming patients and documenting vital information
- Scribing information for the dermatologist
- Providing post-op wound care to patients
- Performing blood draws and suture removal
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting the dermatologist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, and more
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Post-high school education in a medical support field (Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse preferred)
- 1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity
- Current state certifications, licenses, and/or registrations
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
