Medical Support Specialist Job Description

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team at a plasma center in Milwaukee, WI. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of donors and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess donor eligibility and conduct medical history interviews
  • Provide AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion
  • Conduct physical examinations and blood testing
  • Review Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE) results
  • Assess donor reactions and implement medical emergency procedures
  • Collaborate with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs team as needed
Requirements:
  • Paramedic, EMT-P, EMT-I, or AEMT license
  • BLS certification
  • Preferred: Plasma knowledge and venipuncture skills
