Job Summary

Concentra Career Choice is seeking a highly skilled Physician Center Medical Director to lead our clinical team and drive exceptional patient care. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our center, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership: Spend 100% of your time in the center providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
  • Center Operations: Ensure day-to-day execution of medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure.
  • Quality Metrics: Monitor key clinical center metrics, including Practice Indicators, COP, GRV, LOS, TAT, Specialist Referral Rate, Primary Care Case Duration, Days to First Recheck, % of cases with Lost Time, Limited Duty, and Full Duty.
  • Staff Management: Manage clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with APC supervisory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Create a professional and collaborative working environment, promoting teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient safety.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work with DMO to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement.
  • Clinical Systems: Master the use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, appropriate and optimal coding levels, charge capture, and follow-through on all patient care orders.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure compliance with individual State Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations.
  • Patient Experience: Drive patient and client experience metrics.
  • Employer Communication: Call and communicate to employers on all new injuries and other significant clinical changes.
Requirements
  • Education and Credentials: Board Certification/Eligibility highly preferred, Occupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine, Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction, Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university, Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction, and Must be eligible to participate in Medicare.
