Role Responsibilities:

The IHS Designated Coordinator is tasked with engaging with, establishing, and delivering ongoing training and support to individuals participating in Accra's Individualized Home Supports with Training (IHS) program.

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field, with one year of full-time experience in Direct Care services for individuals with disabilities or seniors.
  • Associate's degree in a Human Services-related field, with two years of full-time experience in Direct Care services for individuals with disabilities or seniors.
  • Diploma in a Human Services-related field from an accredited institution, with three years of full-time experience in Direct Care services for individuals with disabilities or seniors.
  • A minimum of 50 hours of education and training in Human Services and disabilities, along with four years of full-time experience in Direct Care services for individuals with disabilities or seniors under the supervision of a qualified staff member.

Additional Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in a Human Services field
  • Proven creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Successful completion of a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation for work-related travel
  • Ability to travel independently across the designated service areas.
