Job Overview

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Acquisition Support Specialist to provide essential support to the Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2).

Role Responsibilities:

The FMS Acquisition Support Specialist will play a critical role in assisting the FMS team with the development and coordination of assigned FMS cases to meet project objectives.

Key Duties:
  • Assist in the planning, development, and drafting of FMS case documentation.
  • Prepare, draft, and update case documentation for FMS projects in compliance with DCSA – M and Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) guidelines.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in FMS-related acquisition, providing education to the workforce and monitoring changes in FMS policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve acquisition and operational issues related to cases.
  • Collaborate with other Acquisition Specialists within PM E2S2 to manage acquisition activities for assigned programs.
  • Utilize collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Global Electronic Approval Routing System) for documentation management.
  • Support program personnel with programmatic actions, including the preparation of Program Reviews, Decision Briefs, Quad Charts, and Program Procurement and RDT&E Forms.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Defense Security Cooperation Agency publications and best practices.
  • Experience with DOD 5000 Series is preferred.
Clearance Requirement:
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
  • Four (4) years of experience in FMS-related activities.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in Military Acquisition activities.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant technical experience may substitute for education.
  • DAWIA Certification/Equivalency is desired.
Travel Expectations:

Travel is expected to be less than 10%, which may include locations within and outside the continental United States.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in a government office setting.

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time position, operating Monday through Friday with flexibility around core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually. This range is not a guarantee of compensation and may vary based on experience and other factors.
