Job Overview

QED Systems, LLC is seeking a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Acquisition Support Specialist to provide essential support for our client, focusing on the Project Manager Expeditionary Energy & Sustainment Systems (PM E2S2).

Role Responsibilities:

The FMS Acquisition Support Specialist will play a critical role in delivering Acquisition Program Management assistance aimed at helping the FMS team in the development and coordination of assigned FMS cases to meet project objectives.

Key Duties:
  • Assist the FMS team in planning, developing, and drafting documentation related to FMS cases.
  • Prepare, draft, and update case documentation for FMS initiatives in compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in FMS-related Acquisition, providing education to the workforce and monitoring changes in FMS policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve issues related to Acquisition and operations.
  • Collaborate with other Acquisition Specialists within PM E2S2 Product Management Offices to manage acquisition activities effectively.
  • Utilize collaboration tools to maintain, route, track, and update necessary documentation.
  • Support program personnel with various programmatic actions, including the preparation of Program Reviews, Decision Briefs, Quad Charts, and Program Procurement and RDT&E Forms.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Detail-oriented with strong technical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with Defense Security Cooperation Agency publications and best practices.
  • Experience with DOD 5000 Series is preferred.
Clearance Requirement:
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree is required; a degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in FMS-related activities.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in Military Acquisition activities.
  • Ten (10) years of relevant technical experience may substitute for educational requirements.
  • DAWIA Certification or equivalent is desirable.
Travel Expectations:

Travel is anticipated to be less than 10%, potentially including locations within and outside the continental United States.

Work Environment:

This position will be situated alongside the customer and other contractors in a professional office setting.

Position Type and Work Hours:

This is a full-time role, typically Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours.

Estimated Salary Range: $130,000 - $145,000 annually. This range is not a guarantee of compensation and may vary based on experience and other factors.
