Job Summary

OST is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will be responsible for executing acquisition management across an entire product line, coordinating products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases, and preparing, configuring, and staffing all Milestone documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquisition Management: Execute acquisition management across an entire product line, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of products and services.
  • Product Coordination: Coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases, ensuring seamless integration and delivery.
  • Milestone Documentation: Prepare, configure, and staff all Milestone documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Contracting Strategy: Assist with determining contracting strategy, prepares contracting documents, and coordinates activities with Army Contracting Command.
  • Source Selection Boards: Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations, ensuring the selection of the best value for the company.
  • Product IPTs: Lead and provide oversight of product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations, ensuring successful product delivery.
  • Contract Oversight: Assist in providing contract oversight for assigned products, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Program Budget and Master Schedule: Maintain and manage the program budget and master schedule, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of products and services.
  • Cost, Schedule, and Performance Tradeoffs: Identify cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs, ensuring the best value for the company.
  • Supply Requests Packages: Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.
  • Acquisition Strategies and Plans: Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Pre-Award Contracts: Lead tasks supporting pre-award contracts, financial management, risk management, total ownership cost determination, and contract coordination.
  • Contracting Actions: Coordinate contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of products and services.
  • Acquisition Strategy Requirements: Perform acquisition strategy requirements, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Secret Clearance: Must have a Secret Clearance.
  • Years of Experience: 18 years of related experience.
  • Acquisition Career Specialization: Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (i.e. Program Management, Contracting, Logistics).
  • Expert Knowledge and Skills: Expert knowledge and demonstrated skills in: Managing cost, schedule, performance in a program office, Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, Preparing Acquisition and Contracting documents (to include J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI, Defense Acquisition System JCIDS.
