Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting audit, review, and compilation engagements with precision.
  • Overseeing and mentoring engagement teams during SEC audits and quarterly reviews.
  • Identifying and assessing audit risks, planning engagements, and executing audit strategies to ensure comprehensive documentation and defensible files.
  • Reviewing work papers prepared by Associates and Senior Associates to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Implementing new and evolving accounting standards effectively.
  • Providing expert guidance to clients on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Industry Accounting Practices.
  • Demonstrating strong professional writing and communication skills through the preparation and review of client deliverables.
  • Managing multiple concurrent engagements, ensuring timely completion without disruption to clients or team members.
  • Overseeing engagement fundamentals such as realization, billing, utilization, and leverage.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients and key stakeholders to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building a network of clients and industry contacts while employing marketing strategies to enhance the growth of the Financial Services team.
  • Assisting in the development and coaching of professional staff.
  • Actively participating in team marketing initiatives and building personal referral sources.
  • Engaging in speaking and writing opportunities to share expertise.
  • Completing continuing professional education specific to the financial services sector.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of audit experience in public accounting.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SEC reporting, including Form 10-K and Form 10-Q.
  • Experience in supervising PCAOB-integrated audits.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to adapt to new accounting software.
  • Experience managing multiple complex client engagements.
