The role actively participates in System projects, workgroups, competency centers, and knowledge forums, serving as the audit liaison to designated business areas. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or participate in planned information technology (IT) and project audits of varying complexity and risk.
  • When leading an audit, effectively communicate results to Senior Management and develop business profile updates with a risk-based focus. Proficiently execute audit steps and procedures in line with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing. Conduct follow-ups on reported findings and document results.
  • Act as the audit liaison for low to moderate risk areas of moderate complexity and/or high risk with low complexity through collaboration with management and key personnel in assigned functional areas of the Bank. Develop an operational understanding of assigned functional areas and maintain effective liaison relationships with management and key staff.
  • Engage in key projects initiated by the Audit Competency Centers (ACC) and participate in competency and knowledge forums. May also participate in other District or Federal Reserve System projects and initiatives.
  • Exhibit a detailed understanding of IT operations, IT concepts, risk assessment practices, and internal control systems for assigned areas of the Bank. Demonstrate intermediate knowledge of General IT Controls.
  • Perform all work in accordance with the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Two to Five years of experience preferred in Financial Accounting, Information Systems, Business Operations, or IT Audit.
  • Five or more years of experience for the Senior IT Auditor role.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • CISA, CISSP, or CIA Certification preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient desktop computer skills.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
