Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Audit Manager, your role will encompass:
- Facilitating communication between clients and the firm to ensure all engagement objectives are achieved.
- Overseeing firm goals and managing resources to meet established targets.
- Providing expert guidance to identify engagement risks and implement appropriate audit responses.
- Mentoring and developing associates through timely on-site reviews and constructive feedback.
- Resolving complex audit and accounting challenges.
- Reviewing financial reports to ensure timely client deliverables.
- Updating the engagement partner on status and involving them in client issue resolutions as necessary.
- Developing technical specialization and serving as a consultant both internally and externally.
- Building trusted advisor relationships with clients and identifying opportunities for expanded services.
- Establishing professional relationships to foster long-term business development.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A passion for exceptional client service and a commitment to integrity.
- Strong project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities in developing audit and assurance associates.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Active CPA certification and license.
