ManTech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Analyst, Sr. Principal to join our team. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for directly managing security incidents from inception to final after-action reporting, ensuring our organization's business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Response and Management: Directly manage security incidents, coordinating documentation, work efforts, and resource utilization within the organization.
  • Enterprise Incident Response: Coordinate enterprise incident response efforts, including command and control functions, in response to cyber security incidents.
  • Threat Detection and Analysis: Provide detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyber-attacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities.
  • Network and System Analysis: Characterize and perform analysis of network traffic and system data to identify anomalous activity and potential threats to resources.
  • Security Event and Incident Correlation: Perform security event and incident correlation using information gathered from various sources within the enterprise.
  • Cyber Incident Reporting: Analyze and assess damage to data and infrastructure as a result of cyber incidents, and write and publish cyber incident reports detailing incident findings and mitigation/remediation recommendations.
  • Incident Response Guidance: Develop and document incident response guidance, processes, and procedures.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Considered a lead and may manage the work of others.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: B.S. or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of related experience.
  • Cybersecurity Operations Center Experience: Experience working in a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment desired.
  • COTS Technologies: Experience with COTS technologies used in a Cybersecurity Operations Center environment desired.
  • Certifications: CSSP-IR (GCIH, CSIH, or CEH) certification required within 6 months, IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification required.
  • Operating System Proficiency: Proficient in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Security Knowledge: Working knowledge of current COTS Cybersecurity technologies, database, and operating system security.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to effectively interact with various levels of senior management, make decisions, and resolve problems.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team, share workloads, and deal with sudden shifts in project priorities.

Clearance Requirement:

  • TS/SCI Clearance: Must possess an active TS/SCI w/CI polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Physical Demands: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Communication: The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
