A Senior Cybersecurity Analyst plays a crucial role within a team of proficient cybersecurity experts supporting the Cybersecurity Operations Center. These analysts conduct investigative services to uncover trends and patterns within the organization's IT infrastructure that may signal the presence of malicious cyber actors. They consolidate data from various sources and deliver operational insights to organizational leadership. These insights are presented through presentations, visual graphics, tuning requests, and custom signature development.
Key Responsibilities:

The contractor will provide advanced cybersecurity analytics services that aggregate and analyze products, data, and information to detect trends and patterns, identify anomalous activities, enhance situational awareness of government networks, missions, and threats, and offer operational recommendations, visualizations, tuning requests, and custom signature creation to the Cybersecurity Operations Cell (CSOC) and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:

The ACA team will provide training on utilizing analytic tools and assist candidates in understanding the necessary data science components for the role. However, the ideal candidates should possess the following attributes:

  • REQUIRED: U.S. Citizen with an Active TS/SCI clearance (must obtain a CI Poly within six months)
  • Note: This is strictly onsite work (no remote options)

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong research and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with SNORT signatures and YARA rules
  • Proficient in the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)
  • Mid-level cybersecurity experience (e.g., Help Desk, Tier I - III SOC, Engineering, DevSecOps)
  • Willingness to drive cultural change in utilizing Big Data for organizational decision-making
All contractor personnel providing ACA services must possess or obtain within six months a certification compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) Directive (DoDD and DoD M IAT Level III and CSSP Analyst).
