We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Security Analyst specializing in Virtualization and Storage Security to enhance our team. The successful candidate will deliver expert technical assistance for assessments within the Intelligence Community Integrated Environment, concentrating on hypervisor and storage security to advance and modernize our operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform security evaluations of hypervisor setups and virtual machine deployments.
- Establish security hardening protocols for virtual machines and hypervisors.
- Oversee and secure virtualized network functions.
- Analyze virtual network traffic for irregularities.
- Implement role-based access controls for hypervisor administration.
- Conduct patch management and address vulnerabilities.
- Devise disaster recovery strategies for virtualized settings.
- Securely configure virtual appliances and services.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- DoD 8570 IAT III certification is mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration with hypervisor technologies.
- At least 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity/Information Assurance.
- Thorough knowledge of vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN.
- Experience in disaster recovery planning for virtualized environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with enterprise ESXi, Hyper-V, and storage solutions.
- Proficiency in utilizing vulnerability assessment tools such as Tenable and Splunk.
- Capability to effectively apply cybersecurity principles.
- Comprehensive understanding of cyber threats and network security.
