Regional Facilities Operations Coordinator

This essential position involves providing maintenance support across multiple properties within a designated area. The role encompasses performing technical and mechanical tasks to ensure that the physical aspects of buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel between properties within the assigned region to assist with make-ready processes, work orders, curb appeal, capital expenditure projects, and more.
  • Address work orders generated from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and executing repairs in line with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and new residents, including conducting pre-move-out inspections, creating maintenance punch lists, scheduling necessary vendors, procuring supplies, completing maintenance tasks, and inspecting finished work.
  • Manage inventory by tracking materials, returning unused items to the maintenance department, and notifying supervisors about reordering needs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of service requests to facilitate appropriate tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as litter removal, pressure washing, general cleaning, and painting as needed.
  • Support cost-saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials and supplies efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety and risk management policies by participating in routine safety meetings, completing required OSHA training, and promptly reporting any incidents.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of contractor work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Participate in regular property inspections to identify safety concerns and communicate maintenance needs to management.

Qualifications:

  • EPA 608 certification Type II or Universal is mandatory.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required for operating a golf cart on property.
  • Flexibility in work schedule is essential based on business needs.
  • Availability to work during standard hours, which may include times outside of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Consistent, regular, and in-person attendance during working hours is required.
