Job Description

Peak Living is seeking a qualified Assistant Community Manager to support community operations in our tax credit communities.


As a key member of our team, you will assist the Community Manager in supervising community associates, ensuring compliance with tax credit requirements, and participating in leasing and marketing efforts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Community Manager in supervising community associates
  • Ensuring compliance with tax credit requirements through training, audits, and inspections
  • Participating in leasing and marketing efforts
  • Preparing paperwork for new and renewal leases
  • Reviewing resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees
  • Communicating with residents regarding outstanding balances and implementing procedures for collecting on delinquencies
  • Assisting the Community Manager in resident loyalty and retention initiatives
  • Assisting the Community Manager in organizing daily work and community operations
  • Collecting, posting, and depositing rents/security deposits and other community income

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience as an onsite Assistant Community Manager or Leasing Consultant in multi-family housing, hospitality, or similar
  • CAM or ARM certification preferred
  • 1 year of experience in LIHTC communities
  • Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation preferred
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) designation preferred (for Section 8)
