Job Description

The Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD) is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee the implementation of the "Helping Families Thrive" initiative in South Los Angeles. This holistic, equity-driven, and culturally responsive intervention model aims to advance economic mobility and stability for families experiencing homelessness.

The Project Manager will work closely with staff from CRCD member organizations to deliver seamless and high-quality homelessness prevention and workforce development services to 40 South LA families. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with staff and leadership, scheduling regular project meetings, and managing relationships with community partners.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of the "Helping Families Thrive" initiative.
  • Coordinate with staff and leadership from CRCD member organizations.
  • Schedule regular project management meetings.
  • Manage relationships with community partners.
  • Collaborate with CRCD's Learning and Evaluation Department.
  • Coordinate with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Lead project-related trainings and professional development workshops.
  • Organize quarterly convenings with leadership and liver-experience advisory committee.
  • Provide support and resources to staff from CRCD member organizations.
  • Uphold CRCD's Mission Statement and 5-year Strategic Plan.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years' experience or related work and a Bachelors-level Degree; or an Associates-level Degree and 5 or more years' experience providing homelessness prevention, workforce development or other community-based services.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
  • Reliable, flexible team player with a good work ethic and ability to set and maintain personal boundaries.
  • Demonstrated project management experience.
  • Ability to successfully manage implementation of multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Knowledge of homeless services, workforce development and other public resource systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including meeting facilitation, written and verbal communication, and public speaking.
  • Exceptional partnership, coalition building and collaboration skills and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the South Los Angeles community, community-based organizations, and social services sector.
  • Reliable transportation and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary and Benefits:

$66,560-$72,000 annually, with an array of benefits including 14 paid holidays, on-demand training memberships, dental/vision/medical insurance, 401k eligibility, and more.
