About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate Community Manager to join our dynamic team at Optimum Property Management. As a key member of our community management team, you will be responsible for assisting our Directors with the day-to-day responsibilities of managing a portfolio of community associations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend evening board meetings and take minutes
  • Transcribe and review action items
  • Assist with preparation of Directors Reports
  • Review and code payables
  • Return phone calls and respond to emails
  • Conduct property inspections and transcribe inspection reports
  • Solicit and review proposals/contracts
  • Prepare bid comparisons
  • Check in with supervisor daily to advise of any issues or concerns
  • Obtain CMCA certification
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree preferable but not required
  • Property management experience preferred
  • At least 1 year customer service experience, 2 or more years preferred
  • Attention to detail and organization is key
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
  • Critical thinking & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude
  • The ability to navigate challenging situations
  • Type a minimum of 40 WPM
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
