Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Director of Social Enterprise Strategy and Development to lead our strategic expansion into innovative business models. This executive role will bridge our history of community service with sustainable, socially responsible practices.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement large-scale strategic initiatives in multi-state organizations
  • Lead cross-functional teams in social enterprise development efforts, integrating perspectives from all five states
  • Represent SJCS at high-level industry events and conferences related to social enterprise and disability services
  • Collaborate with other leadership team executives to integrate social enterprise strategies into the organization's long-term vision across all states of operation
  • Develop and present comprehensive strategies for social enterprise models that align with SJCS's mission of creating inclusive communities and enhancing quality of life for clients


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Extensive executive-level experience in social enterprise, nonprofit management, or related fields
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing large-scale strategic initiatives in multi-state organizations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across multiple locations
  • Expert knowledge of social enterprise models and their application in the social services sector, particularly in creating inclusive communities
  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Social Entrepreneurship, Disability Studies, or a related field

Location
