Director of Product Innovation

Key Responsibilities:

Action-oriented Director of Product Development sought to lead R&D efforts, drive innovation, and ensure product success. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership experience, particularly in guiding hardware products through every phase of development.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Foster a culture of innovation within the Product Development team, encouraging creative problem-solving and the exploration of new ideas.
  2. Lead, mentor, and manage the Product Development team, promoting collaboration within the team and across other departments.
  3. Develop and implement the Product Development strategy in alignment with the company's overall objectives.
  4. Identify emerging trends and technologies in cybersecurity to guide the direction of R&D efforts.
  5. Collaborate with external partners, research institutions, and technology vendors to drive innovation.
  6. Develop and maintain product roadmaps, ensuring they align with both technical and business objectives.
  7. Manage Product Development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  8. Track project progress, address challenges, and adjust strategies as needed to meet goals.
  9. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability and effectiveness of developed solutions.
  10. Cultivate a culture of collaboration between Product Development and other departments to ensure alignment on product development and market launch.
  11. Communicate R&D strategies, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, with proven success in guiding products from R&D through market launch. Proven track record of developing and successfully launching products, project management skills, and a strong technical background. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and clearly articulate product vision and progress.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). This role has a Director level position with a targeted base salary range of $120k to $170k. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to the anticipated salary, one will have the opportunity to qualify for an annual bonus.
