Senior Communications Specialist

Premier Enterprise Solutions is seeking an Senior Communications Specialist with 6 - 8 years of experience in providing a smooth flow of internal and external communications for a DoD/ federal agency/organization.

This position will coordinate with multiple teams and departments and create/disseminate cradle-to-grave communications for this federal agency. The position requires the capability to thrive within a highly complex organization. The position also requires strong media relations, project planning, writing, and editing skills as well as an understanding of digital channels, marketing, and advertising as tactics applied in the support of strategic communications planning and execution.

In addition to writing communication strategies, read aheads, and developing marketing materials, this position has an emphasis on carrying out graphic/visual and digital media tasks, to include developing and posting social media and web content. Attention to detail is extremely important; Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite would be highly beneficial, as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Familiarity with creating visually appealing slide decks would also be a plus.

The right candidate will have experience managing, creating, and disseminating cradle-to-grave communications. Should be able to hand operations and media using various methods across multi-disciplinary efforts to highlight Agency priorities and accomplishments to diverse audiences. Will provide creative and innovative solutions that articulate ideas and craft products by using diverse skills and expertise in various mediums, utilizing the multitude of communication channels to message and visualize Agency initiatives while advancing I&S priorities.

Will engage in comprehensive storytelling; visualize complex concepts and

Plan/execute strategic messaging with tactical execution; manage and disseminate Government, intelligence, or historical information on various platforms; and provide other information-related services.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. The candidate will work with the team effectively at all levels of the organization.

Current DoD TS/SCI Clearance is required.
