About the Role:
Boutique Recruiting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling high-tech equipment, managing accounts, and working closely with regional sales agents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the PCB, chemical milling, and related high-tech industries.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, including generating quotes and negotiating technical and commercial details.
- Coordinate with regional sales agents and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
- Travel nationwide, including Canada, for client meetings, equipment demonstrations, and installations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to ensure customers are informed about technical capabilities and installation processes.
- Provide detailed product knowledge and technical solutions tailored to customers' manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma required, bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, including local and cross-country trips.
- Knowledge of PCB manufacturing or related industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while being an effective team player.
- Fast learner with a solution-oriented mindset.
