Job Summary

Oak View Group is seeking an experienced Executive Chef - Events to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and finishing all hot and cold foods in accordance with event recipes and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and finish all hot and cold foods in accordance with event recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that food portions and presentation meet our high standards.
  • Assist the Culinary Management team with food preparation as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including floors and passages.
  • Clean kitchen and equipment as assigned by the Culinary Management team.
  • Assist in keeping all food storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, etc. clean and organized.
  • Assist with set-up and cleaning operational areas.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of related cook experience.
  • Ability to work in a clean, organized, and efficient manner in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in all aspects of cooking.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to take direction from supervisors.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when required.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, resourcefully, and proactively solve issues.
