Job Summary

This role is responsible for preparing and maintaining court files, responding to inquiries, and performing various administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately prepare and maintain court files, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Respond to inquiries from the public, other county employees, and elected officials in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare case binders and ensure files are ready for filing.
  • Perform in-office duties, including data entry, filing, indexing, and assisting with imaging and scanning of court documents.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong filing and organizational skills.
  • Typing skills preferred but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and required auto insurance.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
Benefits

Fort Bend County offers a competitive salary range of $15.00 per hour, 28 hours per week, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
