Overview

CCS Health is seeking a highly skilled Strategic IT Partner to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in shaping our technology strategy and driving business outcomes.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President, Technology Partnership & Solutions, and will be responsible for building strong relationships with business and IT leaders to deliver business impact. This position is flexible, but the placement must be willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with ELT and SLT leadership teams, as well as other internal stakeholders, to lead the process of defining business use cases for technical solutions.
  2. Identify and generate supporting business knowledge for defining and delivering business use cases.
  3. Support Scrum team stakeholders in implementing business use cases.
  4. Engage with external stakeholders, including technical vendors, technology partners, and talent vendors, to create productive contributions and support onboarding of technical team members.
  5. Ensure CCS Health's strategy and key performance indicators are identified and leveraged for effective IT demand shaping.
  6. Partner with enterprise architects to develop technology enablement business capability roadmaps.
  7. Evaluate proposals, build business cases, and plan new joint initiatives with business and IT leaders.
  8. Deliver new technology solutions and capabilities in accordance with roadmaps and ensure they meet established objectives and expectations of business partners.
  9. Coach business partners to articulate technology needs and requirements that advance business performance.
  10. Be the principal technology advisor to business units and champion for identifying, leading, and driving information technology transformation.
  11. Partner with business transformation or change management teams to ensure business units have capacity and capabilities to implement changes required by new technology solutions.
  12. Share ownership of business value results of technology-related projects and communicate results regularly.
  13. Proactively identify business capability and IT service gaps and contribute to improvement efforts.
  14. Advocate for and advance business partners' knowledge of IT processes, frameworks, roles, and capabilities.
  15. Develop value-adding Technology Partner professional maturity, individually and for the entire function.

Partner with senior leaders to evolve culture and organizational behavior, elevating IT into a strategic partner.

Bring outside-in or fresh perspectives into the organization by meeting with end customers/consumers, industry peers, and other external sources.

Ensure continuous improvement in value optimization, IT performance, and business processes where applicable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required, and 7-10 years of IT experience preferably as a technology partner or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Demonstrated experience in partnering to solve business problems through technology.

Relevant and practical experience in delivering multiple IT projects.

Knowledge and understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and practices.

Knowledge of change management principles.

Ability to analyze problems, develop solutions, and work across a broad range of IT functions.

Expertise in developing technical options and analysis.

Ability to build strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders by explaining complex technology topics in a manner that relates to business stakeholders.

Excellent interpersonal skills to influence, persuade, and motivate others.

Highly developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and an ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
