Position Summary

As a Field Service Technician, you will be pivotal in enhancing the functionality of essential equipment at client locations. This role places you at the forefront of Clean Tech, where you will collaborate with a diverse team dedicated to environmental stewardship.

Your training will equip you to support advanced technologies that contribute to cleaner air solutions. You will engage with global clients to install, maintain, and upgrade Centrotherm equipment, ensuring optimal performance of multimillion-dollar production systems.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

This entry-level position offers hourly compensation and requires candidates to meet minimum qualifications for consideration. Preferred qualifications will enhance your candidacy. Relevant experience may be gained through educational pursuits, projects, research, and internships. Key skills include:

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections and executing necessary maintenance tasks on Centrotherm equipment.
  • Performing periodic system maintenance and minor repairs under supervision, adhering to customer schedules and requirements.
  • Executing tasks within defined parameters, with assignments typically requiring guidance from senior technicians.
  • Complying with all safety policies established by the company and clients.
  • Completing additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will be viewed favorably:

  • At least 6 months of experience in operating and maintaining equipment in semiconductor manufacturing or a similar field.
Educational Requirements

Applicants must meet at least one of the following educational or experiential criteria:

  • Associate degree in a STEM or technical discipline.
  • Military service with relevant experience considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Technical certification or diploma from a trade school.
  • 6 months of experience through certification, apprenticeship, or relevant facility experience.
Physical Requirements

Candidates must be capable of:

  • Working in environments with potentially hazardous materials while wearing appropriate safety gear.
  • Possibly using a respirator.
  • Assisting a coworker in emergencies.
  • Lifting up to 30 pounds and walking several miles daily.
  • Adhering to a fixed work schedule as determined by management and client needs.
