Job Summary

Atlas is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant - Accounts Payable to join our Boise, ID team. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for performing data entry, general office and accounting-related functions, and providing support to administrative staff and department managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and other general office and accounting-related functions under the supervision and direction of the Office Manager.
  • Collect, code, allocate, control, enter, post, print, and reconcile Atlas business transactions using accounting system, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Provide support to administrative staff, department managers, and production staffs using word processing, spreadsheet, and data base software.
  • Perform accurate data entry of project-related data to Excel spreadsheets and templates as directed.
  • Record and deliver accurate messages, make calls as directed, and route incoming telephone calls to proper locations as back-up to the Receptionist.
  • Maintain skills current in the use of current and emerging technologies that can be used to enhance marketing endeavors and strategies.
Requirements
  • Some college valuable but not required.
  • Minimum of four years work experience in similar or related field, in the capacity of an estimator, administrative assistant, or project controls.
  • Minimum: Typing/keyboarding minimum 45-60 WPM.
  • Minimum: Microsoft Office experience.
Technical Requirements
  • Understanding of general office practices, physical organization, and time management.
  • Ability to work under pressure from deadlines and frequent interruptions.
  • Good verbal and written English usage.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows – Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Access.
  • Operate office equipment including computer, copier, scanner, multi-line telephone system, etc.
  • Ability to understand complex instructions and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of the industry, and professional relationships that exist between Atlas and its clients.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of detail.
  • Ability to determine and set priorities.
