Prime Contracts Administrator

For Parsons Corporation, we're seeking an experienced Prime Contracts Administrator to support our growing Critical Infrastructure team in Boise, ID.

As a Prime Contracts Administrator, you'll be responsible for reviewing client contracts to identify risks and ensure conformity to client policies and procedures. You'll draft contracts for large engineering/construction management projects, propose alternative text/clauses as needed, and lead the efforts in coordinating, organizing, and securing change documents with Project Managers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing client contracts to identify risks and ensure conformity to client policies and procedures.
- Drafting contracts for large engineering/construction management projects.
- Proposing alternative text/clauses to client contracts as appropriate.
- Ensuring thorough review of contracts and changes for legal, risk management, and accounting issues prior to submission for approval.
- Leading efforts in coordinating, organizing, and securing change documents with Project Managers.
- Aiding Project Teams with change documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Leading in maintaining and managing change logs in company systems.
- Assisting in preparation of written communications on technical and non-technical matters for various levels of management.
- Providing support to project teams in tracking all management of change (MOC) related process changes.
- Helping in gathering data and preparing supporting documentation during both engineering and construction phases of a project.
- Organizing and tracking of documents as they go through the approval process and ensuring signed forms are gathered and saved for auditing purposes.
- Participating as a member of the negotiating team for establishing business terms and contract conditions.
- Monitoring and administering the business provisions of prime contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Advising the Contracts Manager and Project Managers regarding scope, financial, and risk issues of prime contracts.
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of industry business practices and the negotiation of prime contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of prime contract administration experience is required.
Salary Range: $83,300.00 - $145,800.00
