Facilities Operations Supervisor

Compensation: $2,957 / two weeks

Overview

As a full-time Facilities Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the activities of designated personnel and contractors to guarantee the maintenance of the property, facilities, and equipment. Leading the maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all service requests and maintenance initiatives are fulfilled promptly.

A proficient maintenance team is essential for providing our residents with an exceptional living experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor the maintenance staff, ensuring the overall upkeep of the property aligns with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee and ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment, adhering to health, safety, and OSHA regulations.
  • Establish, implement, and manage an inspection program for all common areas and resident units to maintain high standards.
  • Design, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all buildings and equipment, including staff training on these initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage the Turn Program for the property in collaboration with management and corporate staff.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure timely responses to all service requests, including after-hours emergency maintenance.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
  • Preferred certification in air conditioning and refrigeration from an EPA Type 2 or higher approved organization.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and internet navigation.
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to policies and procedures, utilize basic math skills, and communicate effectively with team members and residents.
  • Acknowledge potential exposure to moving parts, fumes, airborne particles, and various weather conditions.
  • Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
