Position Summary
This role involves assisting in defining the vision and strategy throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, executing objectives via collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams in product strategy, development, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role may be tasked with any or all of the following essential duties:
- Inspire and motivate team members to take initiative and influence cross-functional leadership as necessary.
- Collect data, insights, and feedback from team members to inform decisions regarding the product line.
- Demonstrate basic presentation skills, including effective verbal and written communication, and the ability to create visual content.
- Possess foundational knowledge of project management tools.
- Develop product requirements and platforms for smaller projects (with guidance) and assist in larger project requirements.
- Support user testing phases, including alpha and beta testing, and compile relevant feedback and data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, communication with dealers, sales, and consumers, as well as internal process improvements.
- Conduct requested analyses and reporting on key findings that may reveal trends in product performance and competitive positioning.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Over two years of experience in product management.
- Proven project management skills are essential.
- Strong familiarity with SAP.
- Basic understanding of financial principles to prepare budgets and comprehend costs associated with product enhancements and extensions.
- Proficient in computer applications and software such as Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Basic knowledge of consumer preferences in the home fashion sector.
- Ability to present actionable recommendations to management based on analytical findings.
- Basic skills in analyzing and comparing competitive data.
- Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
