Job Summary:

In an effort to secure reimbursement for LifeBridge Health, this role verifies insurance benefits and obtains pre-certification or authorization for hospital admissions and outpatient procedures. The successful candidate will ensure timely reimbursement and minimize revenue loss.


Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and verify insurance information provided by patients, hospital departments, and physician offices.

Obtain referrals, authorization, or pre-certification numbers as necessary to ensure timely reimbursement.


Requirements:

Entry-level knowledge and basic employment skills are required. A High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or High School certificate is necessary. Prior insurance verification experience is preferred.
