About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Outbound Sales Team Manager to lead and develop our team of sales professionals. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for achieving maximum results by devising strategies that increase volume and effectiveness of your team's pipeline creation and closure.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and scale lead generation teams to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Align sales strategies with marketing and organizational goals.
  • Conduct regular assessments of progress regarding weekly and monthly forecasts.
  • Coach and mentor team members to encourage accountability and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales management software to manage sales processes and analyze data.
  • Build and maintain strong professional networks and foster open communication within the team.
  • Expand the top of the funnel by complementing centralized marketing campaigns with your team's prospecting efforts.
  • Develop relationships and alignment across multiple levels, including C-level executives, influencers, and relevant personas.
  • Drive sales execution by holding AEs accountable to using BambooHR's sales process to close new logo business.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts, monitor pipeline coverage, and monitor AE & BDR notes and activities in the CRM tool.
  • Demonstrate product proficiency with a working knowledge across BambooHR's service lines.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in the SaaS industry.
  • 2+ years outbound sales leadership experience over a team that identifies and qualifies sales opportunities via phone and email.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in managing and growing lead generation teams.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Highly professional and excellent written and verbal communication skills to ensure success in speaking to all levels of an organization.
  • Strong organizational skills to keep detailed records and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional demeanor during conflicts, addressing issues calmly and constructively.
  • Adaptability to seamlessly adjust to changes in team dynamics, leadership, or roles.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
