Project Manager for the Americas

Job Summary:
The Project Manager MSFT will oversee each project assigned from placement of PO to customer acceptance and will be responsible for multiple projects in a given time frame.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate carefully designed and approved action plans to successfully complete projects.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of the Operations activities, including Engineering, Sales, and the Customer, ensuring close communication and coordination regarding project status and milestones.
- Work with Purchasing to ensure that all long lead items are identified and ordered in a timely manner in support of the project schedules.
- Document and communicate project status, obstacles, and resolutions to management, demonstrating the ability to listen, persuade, and achieve win-win negotiation results with Company functional groups.
- Utilize traditional project management skills, such as organizing and planning projects, establishing goals, monitoring performance, assessing risks, and anticipating and efficiently resolving problems.
- Develop and facilitate business processes to achieve project goals.
- Basic understanding of air coolers and manufacturing supply chains is a plus; accreditation from recognized project management organizations such as PMI is a plus.
- Self-motivated with a positive and optimistic attitude, demonstrating team orientation with good leadership skills, empathy, and motivating cross-functional team members to common goals.
- Good organizational skills and capable of independent work, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and determine priorities.
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, and ability to work on-site.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, work in a fast-paced environment, and interchange with others in the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:

At least five (5) years of experience in manufacturing and/or oil & gas industries. Experience in project management or management of significant business processes is desired. Experience in the air cooler industry is a plus.
Computer Skills:
Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. Experience with Microsoft Project.
Education and/or Experience:
BS in engineering, business, or equivalent experience. PMP certification and training is a plus.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel:
Travel required up to 10% of time.
