Community Outreach Specialist

As a Community Outreach Specialist with Vinfen, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with psychiatric conditions in their journey towards successful community integration. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate professional to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Established in 1977, Vinfen is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing community-based services to individuals with mental health conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and behavioral health challenges. Our mission is to promote recovery, resiliency, habilitation, and self-determination for the people we serve.
### Job Description
As a Community Outreach Specialist, you will be responsible for connecting adults with psychiatric conditions with available community resources to promote successful integration into their communities. This will involve building relationships with local service providers, identifying and accessing resources, and providing support to clients in achieving their goals.
### Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field, as well as 2-3 years of experience working with adults with psychiatric conditions. You will also need to have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients. Preference will be given to bilingual/bicultural applicants and those with lived experience of psychiatric conditions.

### Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is $48,520, with a sign-on bonus of $3,000 and additional bonuses for completion of 30 days, 6 months, and 12 months of employment.

### Requirements
All candidates for this position must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a CORI, driving record, reference, educational and professional licensure check, as well as a multi-state background check. You must also be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 90 days of employment.
