Product Marketing Specialist

Position Title: Marketing Associate
Reporting To: Senior Product Manager
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Role Summary: Work closely with the product development team to ensure the effective execution of product development projects. This includes conducting market research, coordinating sample logistics, and ensuring compliance with production timelines. Additionally, provide vital daily support to enhance the team's operational efficiency.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the inspection and tracking of sample shipments, ensuring timely approvals from various teams.
- Collaborate in the creation of prototypes and factory samples for products and packaging.
- Assist in the development of customer presentations and marketing collateral, coordinating with the creative team for brochures and online content.
- Maintain a detailed line list with all relevant information for product lines and customer-specific projects.
- Manage a collection of competitive samples for reference.
- Ensure the upkeep of samples and products while conducting market research and in-store evaluations.
- Handle daily administrative tasks to improve organizational effectiveness.
- Perform additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Supply Chain, or Merchandising, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in Product Development, Product Management, or Production is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with overseas production and manufacturing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with the following product categories is beneficial:
- Paper/Stationery Goods
- Candles
- Children's Products
- General Gifting
- Proficiency in key Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
