Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing analog and mixed-signal IC solutions, leading the design of ASIC I/O and supporting circuitry, and creating IBIS models for I/O associated circuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and mixed-signal IC solutions, including chip-level and cell-level considerations.
  • Lead the design of ASIC I/O and supporting circuitry, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Create and test IBIS models for I/O associated circuits, ensuring accurate and reliable performance.
  • Field customer questions regarding I/O configurations, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Design requirements spanning block definitions, schematic creation, and simulation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Accomplish design integration, testing, analysis, and iteration, ensuring high-quality and reliability.
  • Plan, design-for, and enable radiation testing of microelectronic circuits, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in analog mixed signal design, with a strong background in IC design and development.
  • US Citizenship is required, with no known barriers to achieve a USG Secret security clearance.
  • Experience with Siemens/Cadence IC design tools, including Synopsys Design Compiler, Synopsys PrimeTime, and Synopsys IC Compiler.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Plymouth, MN, with occasional travel to Arrow Client office locations.
  • DDR3, PLL, or SerDes design experience, with a strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal design principles.
  • Knowledge of OS Linux, scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Shell, TCL), and radiation effects analysis.
  • Advanced node and SOI technology design experience, with a strong understanding of CMOS technology.
  • Experience with Siemens Physical Verification tools and methods, with a strong understanding of design-for-testability principles.
