About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Local Superintendent to lead our multifamily construction projects in the Decatur area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Leadership: You will be the primary site leader, responsible for managing and coordinating all site operations, including labor, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Project Planning: You will establish project plans, maintain weekly progress reports, and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of project status.
  • Quality Control: You will be responsible for enforcing our safety program and managing the quality control program to ensure that all work meets our high standards.
  • Financial Management: You will manage accurate invoice payment processes and financial management of project costs.
  • Communication: You will maintain positive relationships with owners, design consultants, and project managers, as well as coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and utility company representatives.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as a superintendent, with a focus on wood-frame, multifamily construction.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of construction management or a related field, and a proven track record of consistent work history.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $120,000 + $140,000, and the opportunity to work with a leading commercial construction general contractor in the Southeast.
