We are looking for Hospitality Event Servers to join our esteemed hotel group, where you will deliver outstanding service in a variety of settings. With over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, an indoor heated pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness center, we aim to leave a lasting impression on our guests. You will collaborate with our skilled team to ensure memorable events.

Position Overview

  • Responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and addressing guest requests.
  • Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Welcome newly seated guests warmly and within the designated time frame.
  • Take drink orders promptly upon greeting guests, deliver beverages, and suggest appetizers.
  • Promote menu items, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts.
  • Input orders accurately into the POS system.
Key Responsibilities
  • Possess knowledge of hotel services.
  • Adhere to alcohol awareness protocols to prevent guest intoxication.
  • Attend to guests' needs while serving food and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Garnish plates according to menu specifications.
  • Maintain tables by monitoring drink levels, clearing clutter, and providing additional items as needed.
  • Calculate bills and present checks upon request or after the last plate is removed.
  • Ensure accurate currency exchange.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized.
  • Keep supervisors informed of any significant issues or unusual occurrences.
  • Maintain a supply of complimentary coffee and tea throughout the shift.
  • Complete assigned side work for the station.
  • Follow all food safety regulations, including personal hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • Report any violations to a supervisor or manager immediately.
  • Adhere to cash handling and check control procedures.
Additional Duties
  • Comply with all work rules, procedures, and policies set forth by the hotel, including those in the employee handbook.
  • Be prepared to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the business.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
