Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Order Management:
    Organize and prioritize food orders in collaboration with the kitchen team, ensuring effective communication for timely and precise order fulfillment.
  • Efficiency Monitoring:
    Keep track of food order timings to guarantee prompt delivery, working closely with kitchen and serving staff to facilitate a smooth service flow.
  • Food Delivery:
    Occasionally transport food directly to tables, ensuring accuracy and promptness while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Issue Resolution:
    Address and resolve any kitchen or order-related issues efficiently, proactively identifying challenges to ensure smooth operations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    Communicate effectively with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure seamless coordination, assisting in various restaurant areas during peak hours.

Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    Preferred experience as a food expediter or in a similar capacity. Basic English communication skills are necessary, with intermediate proficiency being a plus. Familiarity with restaurant menus and food preparation processes is required. Must possess strong organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and a friendly demeanor. Punctuality and reliable attendance are crucial, along with the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights and weekends, is essential.
  • Desirable:
    A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic knowledge of Spanish and a Food Handler Certification are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform various physical movements throughout the work areas.
  • Capability to stand and/or walk continuously during shifts.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Job Functions:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of and adherence to all policies and service procedures.
  • Thorough understanding of all menus and restaurant details.
  • Execution of all assigned opening and closing duties.
  • Maintenance of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in designated areas.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support other restaurant staff as needed.
  • Engage in meetings, training sessions, and menu tastings.
