As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care services, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement patient care services, including developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring that all necessary treatments and interventions are provided.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing personnel, providing feedback and coaching as needed to ensure that all staff members are meeting the standards of care.
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Develop and maintain professional practice standards and clinical expertise, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nursing.
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
- Certification preferred in specialty or efforts to achieve certification
- BSN degree required and 5 years clinical experience, two of which must be in the specialty or related service; or combination of education and experience acceptable to Clinical Director of Nursing or designee
- Demonstrates clinical leadership, problem-solving skills, competency, and principles of Montefiore Excellence
- Computer literate
