Bilingual Case Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Case Manager to join our team at Urban Resource, LLC. As a Bilingual Case Manager, you will play a critical role in providing support and services to victims of domestic violence in our NYC programs.
Responsibilities:- Conduct intake interviews to assess and evaluate residents for admission
- Engage residents in initial and ongoing treatment processes through individual and group counseling
- Develop and maintain housing referral resources and assist residents in securing permanent housing
- Assess residents' vocational and educational needs, aptitudes, and interests through interviews and testing
- Develop and maintain liaison activities with H.R.A., Public Assistance, and Medicaid Administrators and Workers
- Participate in training seminars to enhance and develop clinical skills
- Attend weekly individual case supervision, group supervision, monthly case conferences, and staff meetings
- Function independently in times of facility coverage and take responsibility for appropriate action in crisis situations
- High school diploma plus two years of relevant training and experience, including experience working with victims of domestic violence
- Two years of crisis counseling experience preferred in a residential shelter for victims of domestic violence
- Experience and demonstrated skills in group counseling, assessing vocational and educational needs, and assisting eligible clients through the process of obtaining Public Assistance and Medicaid
- Knowledge and sensitivity to domestic violence issues, particularly within and against disenfranchised communities
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
- A competitive hourly rate of $23.07-$25.82
