Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Case Manager Supervisor to join our team at TemPositions Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing on-site trauma assistance in a social service setting related to city sanctuary hotels throughout New York City.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Oversee invoicing, bookkeeping, and budgeting to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Operational Oversight: Supervise and support community associates, including reviewing completed assessments, to ensure seamless transitions from one shift to the next.
  • Culturally Sensitive Services: Ensure that community associate staff provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed services to clients.
  • Staff Management: Ensure appropriate staff coverage and monitor attendance to maintain a high level of service delivery.
  • Crisis Intervention: Intervene in crises and counsel clients as needed to provide support and guidance.
  • Planning and Troubleshooting: Plan and troubleshoot with operations and security staff to ensure effective site management.
  • Interpretation and Translation: Coordinate interpretation and translation services to facilitate communication with clients and staff.
  • NYC Department of Education (DOE) and Mayor's Office of Immigration Affairs (MOIA) Coordination: Troubleshoot with NYC DOE and coordinate with MOIA to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
  • Incident Management: Manage and document incidents to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Roster and Attendance Management: Manage and update rosters and attendance to ensure accurate records and compliance.
Requirements
  • Bilingual Skills: Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Case Management Experience: Must have experience in case management.
  • Supervisory Experience: Must have previous supervisory experience.
  • Education: Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Financial Experience: Must have some experience with finance, accounting, or budgeting.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with DHS is highly preferred, and previous experience working with migrants is desired.
