Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Care Specialist to join our team at Thrifty White Pharmacy. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for all who interact with our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers via phone, email, and in-person, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Research and resolve customer issues, including billing questions, claims, and prior authorization requests, ensuring accurate and efficient resolution.
  • Data Management: Prepare and organize data to support company programs and processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and problem-solve using available resources, escalating issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of patient information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; business or communications courses preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a similar role, with excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Skills: Moderate computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload effectively.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
