Position Overview:
As an Athletic Outreach Specialist, you will deliver essential athletic training services and manage relevant administrative responsibilities for Moore Catholic High School and associated entities under JAG Athletic Training outreach contracts.

Professional Standards:
The Athletic Trainer (AT) will operate within the guidelines of their state licensure and adhere to the Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics established by the National Athletic Trainers Association and the Board of Certification.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE accredited program
- Completion of BOC certification
- Active licensure as an Athletic Trainer in New York
- Current BLS certification
- Personal liability insurance coverage
- Ability to adapt to changing situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive athletic training program for the contracted organization
- Ensure a fully functional athletic training facility with updated policies and procedures
- Provide athletic training services during events and competitions
- Manage the medical and risk management needs of athletes, including preventative and emergency care
- Maintain accurate health records for all athletes
- Act as the workers' compensation case manager for the contracted team
- Document injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation in compliance with JAG policies and state standards
- Conduct educational programs on health and fitness for schools and communities
- Collaborate with JAG professionals in physical therapy and related services
- Communicate regularly with supervising physicians regarding operational procedures
- Assist with administrative duties and departmental operations when not at the outreach location
- Oversee inventory and ordering of athletic training supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned.
