Job Overview

As the Manager of Residential Applications, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our department aligns with the overarching goals and vision of Daikin Comfort Technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaboration: Partnering with department and sales leadership to align on expectations and priorities.
  • Policy Implementation: Overseeing the execution of policies and procedures to achieve both short-term and midterm objectives.
  • Team Development: Fostering a collaborative environment while mentoring both new and existing team members.
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Engaging proactively with other teams, such as HR and Product Marketing, to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
  • Application Support: Delivering project-level application assistance to Daikin sales personnel and our network of representatives and distributors across North America.
  • Team Coordination: Organizing and leading team meetings to ensure effective collaboration on specific tasks.
  • Documentation Oversight: Supervising the creation of technical documentation and presentations for staff and sales partners.
  • Field Presentations: Conducting technical presentations in the field for our sales partners.
  • Training Leadership: Providing guidance to the application team responsible for presenting application materials.
  • Task Management: Managing and delegating complex and varied tasks effectively.
  • Adaptation: Modifying procedures and tools to meet specialized requirements.
  • Innovative Problem Solving: Engaging in non-routine tasks and utilizing your experience to accomplish assigned objectives.
  • Sales Tool Utilization: Supporting distributors and contractors with design and application inquiries in the commercial sector.

Experience Required: A minimum of 10 years in the HVAC industry, with prior leadership experience preferred.

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
