Position Overview:

As a crucial member of the Field Property Claims Team, you will significantly contribute to delivering an exceptional customer experience. Your investigative and negotiation skills will be essential in resolving a diverse range of homeowner claims within a dynamic, detail-oriented team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site investigations to assess coverage and adjust all aspects of Property Loss claims of moderate to high severity.
  • Manage claims of moderate to severe complexity with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluate and resolve intricate coverage and damage issues, including preparing comprehensive repair estimates for covered damages.
  • Clarify coverage details to policyholders, assisting with itemization of damages, emergency repairs, and additional living arrangements.
  • Collaborate with various vendor services, including contractors and emergency repair services.
  • Identify and report suspicious losses, recommending referrals to Special Investigations Unit (SIU) as necessary.
  • Be available for catastrophe duty as required.

Qualifications:

This position may be suitable for you if you possess:

  • A solid understanding of claims handling procedures and operations.
  • Knowledge of building construction principles.
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong negotiation abilities.
  • The capacity to independently manage your workload while exercising sound judgment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and analytical skills.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with at least two years of directly related experience.
  • The ability to obtain necessary licensing as required.
