Key Responsibilities

•Investigate and confirm the facts of loss for complex homeowner's claims
•Determine coverage, damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within the limit of authority
•Create a comprehensive estimate of damages for complex first-party homeowner claims leading to proper disposition
•Build strong relationships with internal and external customers
•Interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
•Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex files
•Apply mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assist leadership in formal and ad-hoc training
•Exhibit mastery of estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on complex 1st-party homeowner losses of all severities

Requirements

•4-year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
•3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
