Job Description
As a skilled Auto Field Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for complex claims. You will determine coverage, damages, and adjust and negotiate claims within your limit of authority. Your role will also involve creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for complex first-party homeowner claims, leading to the proper disposition. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with experience in body shop estimating or appraisal. The role will cover the Decatur and Springfield, IL area territory, and we are open to candidates in Jacksonville or Taylorville, IL. Key ResponsibilitiesBuilds strong relationships with internal and external customers
Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments, and documents all activities in complex files
Applies expertise in interpreting all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
Exhibits mastery of estimating fundamentals to create estimates of damages on complex 1st-party homeowner losses of all severities
Education & ExperienceA 4-year Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience3 or more years of experience is preferred.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis role does not have supervisory duties.
Education & Experience (in lieu)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Compensation for this role is $24.71 - 35.88 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
