Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient visits and anticipate patient needs to ensure a smooth experience.
- Support healthcare providers by coordinating complex appointment schedules and daily activities.
- Obtain and verify patient demographics and medical insurance information.
- Schedule and reschedule tests and consults requests from various communication channels.
- Perform administrative duties such as processing ABN forms and insurance verification.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED and one year of customer service experience.
- Computer skills, including Windows-based applications and intranet/internet use.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
- Flexibility to adjust work schedules in response to department or clinical needs.
