Position Overview:

As the Technology Team Manager at Phaedon, you will oversee a dedicated group of developers responsible for enhancing our core offerings in the loyalty marketing sector. This pivotal role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

We seek a proactive and responsible individual who can contribute to development tasks within an agile framework while also guiding a team of enthusiastic developers through mentorship and skill enhancement. Effective collaboration with delivery managers, product owners, and solutions architects is essential, making strong communication skills a key asset.

Key Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in web application development.
  • At least 4 years of proficiency with the AngularJS framework.
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript, and web standards for a minimum of 4 years.
  • Experience with NodeJS for 4 years or more.
  • Familiarity with browser developer tools, version control systems like Git, and project management tools such as JIRA for 4 years.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation and build tools, including webpack/NPM, JavaScript testing frameworks (Cypress), and CI/CD practices for 4 years.
  • Solid understanding of Agile Software Development methodologies for at least 4 years.
  • Experience with Web Components for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Prior experience in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of common application servers and runtimes, including Java/J2EE.
  • Experience in architecting solutions for distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and test-driven development.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server databases.
  • Experience in developing industry-standard persistence mechanisms.
  • Integration experience with Node and Java.
  • Database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server and AWS.
  • Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery patterns.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and JavaScript ES6.
  • Familiarity with LIT and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with Webpack, LESS, and Bootstrap.
  • Knowledge of Git and project management tools like JIRA or Confluence.
  • Experience with browser developer tools.
  • Understanding of Agile Software Development frameworks (SAFe).

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • A degree in software development or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years in a managerial, supervisory, or leadership capacity.

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is influenced by various factors, including relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, and education. The salary range for this role is between $119,000 and $161,000.
