Role Overview: As a Senior Manager in Target Technology, you will oversee Tech Portfolio Management, ensuring the seamless operation of Target Tech. Your team will support various tech teams throughout the organization. Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing data and providing insights on essential operational metrics to support our annual objectives.
  • Developing tools to assist teams in managing their operations and identifying actionable items for success.
  • Leading special projects aligned with tech leadership and sponsor goals.
  • Facilitating communication initiatives for tech leaders, including team meetings, newsletters, and recognition programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in IT strategy formulation and mobilize tech teams toward these objectives.
  • Contribute to the annual planning process for technology and business initiatives.
  • Assist tech leaders with financial oversight, including budget management and forecasting.
  • Create analytical tools and assess trends across key operational metrics such as reliability, security, and efficiency.
  • Support community building and engagement efforts among tech teams.
  • Proactively identify technology risks and opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Build strong relationships with partner teams in HR, Finance, and other departments.
  • Lead a high-performing global team, focusing on career development and performance management.
  • Monitor progress against objectives and participate in financial management activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and encourage continuous learning within the team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Understanding of retail functions and technology operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvements through innovative methods.
  • Familiarity with Product and Agile methodologies.
  • Current knowledge of evolving technology trends.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in process, project, or delivery management.

Work Arrangement: This position offers a Hybrid/Flex work arrangement, requiring on-site presence at Target HQ and virtual work as needed.
